The Heart of Caregiving Academy, LLC is a licensed private school dedicated to providing comprehensive caregiver training. We specialize in preparing individuals for careers in home care, senior care, and related healthcare support fields.
We currently offer the Home Care Aide Training Program (20 hours) and the Caregiver Medication Safety Training (4 hours). Students can also enroll in our combined 24-hour program, which includes both courses.
Anyone interested in becoming a caregiver, whether new to the field or seeking to enhance their skills, can enroll. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are passionate about providing compassionate care.
No prior healthcare experience is required. Our programs are designed to provide foundational knowledge and skills for entry-level caregivers.
Tuition includes instruction for the training program, a training manual and workbook, skills lab sessions, and a certificate of completion upon successful course completion.
Currently, we do not offer financial aid. However, we encourage students to explore local workforce development programs, grants, or employer reimbursement opportunities for training.
You can enroll directly online using a personal computer or your mobile phone, or contact the school to make an appointment to register/enroll in person.
Classes are held at our training facility in Birmingham, Alabama.
Yes. Upon successful completion of the training, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Heart of Caregiving Academy, LLC.
Yes. We are building a Home Care Aide Hub to connect trained caregivers with home care agencies and employers seeking qualified staff.
Absolutely. We welcome partnerships with home care agencies and healthcare organizations seeking to train or upskill their staff.
